Alex and Pratt Farm, Duxbury birds

Monday, my day with Alex, and we went for a walk at Pratt Farm, one of my favorite places, and he really enjoyed it.  This AM I drove to Duxbury Beach, not expecting much, and almost drove by a young Cooper's Hawk, sitting on a pole right beside the road, and eating a bird.  I was about ten feet away, and he refused to budge from his meal.  Quite a sight.

Some Fall foliage left.  Pratt has so many wonderful trails.

A new trail discovered, out to a little bit of land almost completely surrounded by water.  Alex said, "I don't know about this!" but I persuaded him to cross the "bridge" and this photo records his bravery.
