I found an old octavo folio of photographs of German Pipe Organs, and I have not found a copyright anywhere, and as it is over 70 years old, I am posting the pictures on my blog.  If there is any objection, I will remove them immediately, but probably there will not (be objections).  I hope. I photographed them with a Canon 100mm Macro lens, and added a little contrast.  Most of them are simply breath-taking.  I've only visited one, Regensberg.

It was great fun playing the Westerly Chorus' Pops program on Saturday.  I especially liked Chadwick's "Songs of the Fleet", with a riviting baritone soloist, and especially nice bass trombone parts. Here are some pictures.

The Friday birdwalk, while not very exciting, species found, was simply a beautiful walk, remarkable sunshine, cool, and ulitmately rewarding in other ways.  David Ludlow is very adept at finding other things to enjoy, including plants and animals worth knowing about.  Here are some photos from the morning.

A very substantial,Snapper.  The great mass of his body is below the surface,   You can get an idea of his size by the distance to the head.

Red-breasted Nuthatch. Not a geeat photo but the only one I have so far of him.

And further combat, a Red tail be harrassed .
