Cartoons for the yhear

Every year, Susan and I put cartoons we admire on the fridge, and then start again.  Here are some memorable ones, mostly from the Boston Globe.
I hope you can enlarge them adequately.

Holiday fun

Haven't seen Star Wars yet, but the season has been delightful so far.
Here are a few pictures from the past several days.
Christmas Eve AM , brunch with the Mazzoli's, and Scott, Cheryl
Alex and Carter.  A quick stop over at Bill Daley and June Snow's to show the boys their Xmas decorations

Back to our house for a little "War" before brunch.

In the afternoon, I had a concert at 2nd Parish in Hingham,
and then that night, a candlelight service at Old South

Christmas Day, and a brunch at the Daleys

Glen and Elaine Soulia, Willis Soulia,

And my very special Xmas gift from sister Barbara
an original, signed pastel created by her.

Susan and I took Christmas afternoon by ourselves,
went to Ellisville State Park, and saw lots of seals.
Tomorrow, it is up to Groveland to see Ken, Erin, Jackson and Oliver
Then I stay overnight so as to bring the boys to
Christmas Revels at Sanders Theater, Cambridge.

At Fenway with St. John's Prep

A wonderful time at Fenway Park, attending a football match with Jackson's St. Johns Prep against Xavarian (they lost), but a historic high school football game at Fenway. And a few shots with Carter trips, to Winslow Farm in Mansfield, and a park very near their house.
Winslow Farms is a rescue operation for injured and abused animals.  Incredibly great work.

The largest crowd for a HS game I've ever seen.

First Carter Adventure, Red Maples

Carter and I had our first adventure together, going to Pratt Farm and heaving branches, rocks, and pinecones into the lake.  Also in this blog, the search for the most majestic red maple.
