Very cold morning, the cold front here with a vengeance. Wind chill factor down to about 10 degrees on Duxbury Beach.
Finally have a few good shots of Snow Buntings, and the Screech-owl with eyes partially open.
I think I have to be at the tree when he first returns in the AM, to get a full-eyed shot.  But he is so exceptionally beautiful.

And here's the Snow Bunting.  Down from Canada for a better food supply.



And here he is almost awake.  I think I will have to find a name for him.  Any suggestions?
Of course, it could be a she.
