Travel to New Mexico, B&B

Susan and I took a limo to Logan Airport, and discovered, while waiting in line to go through security, that neither one of us had our driver's licenses!  I had left them in the scanner-printer at home, after making copies!  So the start of our trip was troublesome, not the least because we could not pick up our rental ar!  But we took a "Lyft" (first time) from the rental car office to our B&B, found it very charming, great breakfasts, and we walked around Santa Fe for two days until Scott mailed our licenses to us.  So this blog is mostly about our travels, and the B&B.

I love taking pictures from air planes!  Flying over the plains.

Approaching Santa Fe

A great introduction to the adobe architecture of Santa Fe.
Part of the buildings date back to the 1860's.

My only problem was constantly whacking my head on those wooden
decorations at the top of the door.  People were much shorter back then.

We had a private little patio, which in the evening was cool and restful.
Our temperatures during the day were high 70's, and it sometime dropped to the 50's at night.
And the brightest sunshine I have ever seen. Not a hint of haze from the forest fires further west.

Entrance way.

The oldest building, including a cooking oven.

We had to move to another room two days before leaving.  Here is the fireplace in that suite.

And that entrance, with the iconic hanging red chili peppers.

An evening overlooking Santa Fe from a hilltop within the city.  Yes, those
are Susan and my shadows

And a few shots at the end of the trip flying to Dallas-Fort Worth.
