Susan and I took the "High Road to Taos", with a goal of seeing the Taos Pueblo. Unfortunately, we were unaware that all the pueblos were closed to the public because of Covid, and so I couldn't even get a distant shot of one of the most iconic and magnificent adobe cities in the west. But the trip was a beautiful one, topped off with a trip over the Rio Grande Gorge bridge, a spectacular bridge 650 feet above the Rio Grande. A walk to the middle of the bridge, and the view, looking both directions was very impressive. And as a bonus, there were some wild goats on the edge of the canyon.

A great part of the trip was getting out and seeing some desert scenery. It doesn't have the color of Sedona, but it was still quite beautiful. |

Not a place for a person with a fear of heights. |
I think those may be bighorn sheep - just without the fully developed male horns.
