Our greeter at the cemetery across from the farm |
In the East Blind, Barn Swallows posed for us. |
A nest inside the blind. The birds are almost fearless in their
determination to get in, in spite of all the spectators at the windows
|
A Bobolink, one of the success birds returning to the farm.
Their call sounds just like that, "Bobolink"
|
As we were returning to the parking lot, a fly-over from a Great Blue Heron |
And upon our arrival at the parking lot, a young Red-tailed Hawk perched
right above us, posing and refusing to fly away.
A great way to end the morning.
