Two trips to Pratt Farm, Middleboro

A local conservancy, with wonderful trails, and on a beautiful day, as in the past two day, such a pleasure to walk.  Not overly birdy (plenty of Yellow Warblers), but always something to see.
Here is what I kept.
Yellow Warbler

Sitting on the path.

Carrion Beetles, swarming over something.

Testing the macro capabilities of the 100-400 f 4-5.6 L ii

Baltimore Oriole

At our back door, fearless, huge.

Another Macro test

Beaver

Pink Lady Slipper
Always a delight to see the first one.

The versatility of the lens is becoming more and more apparent.
