AZ3 Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum

One of the great museums on the planet, a zoo with breathtaking concern for the animals and their surroundings.
And one of the best places in Tucson to find birds.

Greeting us at the entrance, a handler with a Peregrine Falcon.  The museum has raptor

free flights, but it was cancelled the day we attended, sick trainer.

AZ2 Botanical Gardens, Tohono Chul Park

Both the Botanical Gardens and Tohono Chul Park are located in downtown Tucson, and they are a great oasis.  Tohono chul has a delightful restaurant, quite a few different habitats, and wonderful birs sightings.
