Yellowstone/Tetons blog3

Basically a mix of days 3,4,and 5 down to the Tetons.   We stayed in a lovely condo in Teton Village, which was a great place to explore the Tetons.
Last morning in Yellowstone, beautiful day.

First sighting of a big bull Elk, with his harem.

A tiny part of the Bison population.

Mud Volcano area, early AM.

Just enjoying a morning buffet on the side of the road.

The famous Old Faithful Inn, one of the largest and oldest all wood buildings in America

The Lobby

And the construction!!

We sat on the deck of the hotel, I had a $6. latte, and we watched her "geyse".

This is the Midway Geyser Basin

The edge of the famous Prismatic Spring

A pano taken with my 1 phone (Prismatic Spring)

And so, down the John D. Rockefeller parkway to the Tetons and Teton Village.
The white building in the middle is our condo building

The living area,  Susan relaxing.

Up at 5 AM to visit the Schwabacher Landing site, famous for photographing the Tetons at first light,  but not
today because of clouds.   Nice beaver dam,  however.

And even in the gloom, beautiful
