Tappan-Hayes Reunion

What an amazing time!  Of course, the best part was playing in performance with Don, Bruce, and Barbara for the first time ever.  I won't attempt to name everybody, but here are a few pictures from the event.

Heritage Gardens and Museum with Bruce and Susan

Bruce had one full day with us in Massachusetts before flying down to the Tappan-Hayes reunion in NC. and so we took him down to the Heritage Gardens in Sandwich, a place he had visited with Irene many years ago.

A great way to test out the Iphone 13 pro camera.

With Ken and Erin

The very rare treat of having time with Ken and Erin alone happened with their invitation to spend several days in their wonderful cabin near Troy, Vermont, almost at the Canadian border, and near Jay Peak, their skiing destination.

A few pictures from our time with them.

Before the trip up to Vermont,
dinner at Johnny Macaroni's

The cabin.

A most relaxing retreat, an ideal place for a glass of wine,
or a cup of coffee in the morning.

Harvard Art Museum with Mark Slawson

A visit to the Harvard Art Museum, with Mark Slawson.  This is such a wonderful museum, so easily visited, so much great art in a modest amount of space.

I have photographed some of this before, but a lot is new.  And Beautiful

Blossoming Plum and Moon

Clouds across an azure sky of ten thousand leagues
the moon fades amid the fragrant expanse
A stem of plum across an emerald brow,
on a narrow path she greets the immortal.
An arbor of radiant flowers covers her,
parting to welcome me with cool elegance.
A swath of frost lies over her boughs.
