Mazzoli Thanksgiving

Very cool day celebrating with Scott, Cheryl, Alex and Carter, and all of Cheryl's relatives.

Quebec

At the inspiration of my brother Bruce, Susan and I drove to Quebec city to be with him and his wife, Irena, and their son Marlin, and my Sister Barbara and husband Bill.  We had three days in an apartment rented in the city, and it was wonderful to be with them.  The city may be the most lovely city in North America.

Up very early the first morning for a walk along the battlements of the fortress, and then down to the
promenade in front of "the most photographed hotel in North America"

Susan and I took our first morning when we were there by our selves, and drove north to the
Ille d'Orleans, where we had lunch.

We stopped in Sherbrooke, Can. at O'Reilly's Tavern on the drive home.  What a magnificent bar!

I've played a lot of gigs lately (Children's concerts, (Cape Symphony), Mozart's "Requiem" (Chatham Chorale), and this week, "Curtain" at Hingham High School), so I've been remiss on blogging, but today I  am catching up.  Misc. photos from the past few weeks.

This Cooper's hawk was at Daniel Webster Farm, dining on what appeared to be a small bird.
