Fuller Craft Museum Exhibit

Good friend Roy Campbell and I went to the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, which has always been one of my favorite places to spend a few hours. The exhibit was based on the inspiration of "Bartram's Boxes".  John Bartram was America's first botanist, and derived his income from selling boxes of collected seeds and seedlings which he boxed and sold to subscribers back in England.  Three generations of Bartrams were involved, and they transformed (with Magnolia, Azalea, Mountain Laurel, Rhododendron, Maple, Black Gum, Vibernum and Sumac) the countryside of England with colors unseen there before.
So the exhibit, mostly of great woodworking artists, paid homage to him.
Here are some examples:

The Everglades, etc.

What a wonderful time.  Perfect weather, birds everywhere, and the great companionship of my twin, Don, who met me in Homestead, and we filled our time taking photographs of the things we love.
Here is a very small example of the trip.
All the bird photos are from the Anhinga Trail, Everglades, except where noted.

Double-crested Cormorant

Pied-billed Grebe

Black Vulture
A real pest, these birds have developed a taste for the rubber on cars.
When you park at the Anhinga Trail, the park service provides tarps to cover your car.  The birds have
learned to pull the tarps off, so bungee chords are provided.
