Backyard female Red-wing Blackbird.  I love the lovely wash of pink.

And no matter how many times I see the red-bellied, I still am thrilled.

The Downy visits every day.

At the feeders at Daniel Webster farm.

A singing Song Sparrow on a budding bush. Ah

Tree Swallow, Daniel Webster Farm

A few recent birds, taken in the back yard, and at Daniel Webster Farm.  I had a Merlin in the backyard, but the camera was in the car, and he took off.
The Red-tail (juvenal) was at Daniel Webster Farm, and would not be scared off.  He was 20 yeards away, near the Western Blind,  and refused to budge.   I just had to wait for him to take off, and got these pictures.  Hawks take my breath away.
