The Everglades, etc.

What a wonderful time.  Perfect weather, birds everywhere, and the great companionship of my twin, Don, who met me in Homestead, and we filled our time taking photographs of the things we love.
Here is a very small example of the trip.
All the bird photos are from the Anhinga Trail, Everglades, except where noted.

Double-crested Cormorant

Pied-billed Grebe

Black Vulture
A real pest, these birds have developed a taste for the rubber on cars.
When you park at the Anhinga Trail, the park service provides tarps to cover your car.  The birds have
learned to pull the tarps off, so bungee chords are provided.

Red-shouldered Hawk
Flew down next to the car, stabbed an insect, and flew up.
