Party for Scott's birthday at Ken and Erin's

Great get-together in Newburyport.  Somehow I reversed the pictures when down loading.

This is a pano shot (Iphone) of Barbara's back yard in Lee. N.H.

Here is the group at Newburyport on Saturday.
L-R: Oliver, Erin, Ken, Alex, Scott, Susan, Jackson, Cheryl, Carter, Doug

Erin, Scott, Susan, birthday cake (Pumpkin chocolate).

Alex and his lego cruise ship, made with no directions.

Last Sunday was the first time for members of the choir to sing inside
at Old South Union Church.  What a treat!
We sang from the balcony, very social distanced from each other.
Susan sang solo soprano, in a choir of five.

Red-breasted Nuthatches at Barbara's in New Hampshire

During our weekly zoom meeting between siblings, Barbara announced that she had an influx of many Red-breasted Nuthatches in her yard, a bird I have only seen perhaps five times.  So I arose at 5 AM and jumped in the car and drove up to New Hampshire, and was rewarded with many sightings, and a few decent photos.  And, the  foliage was sublime. And a great  plus was visiting with Barbara, Bill and Karl and enjoying Barbara's fall garden, worth the trip in itself.

And here he is, visiting the gutters on Barbara's house (bugs, maybe?)

There must have been a dozen flying around in the woods near the house.

Shasta Vibernum

And a Yellow-rumped Warbler flying through!

And as I was walking out to the car to leave, this beauty was sitting in the driveway!

Walks at Heritage, Pratt w. Susan

Two beautiful fall walks, the foliage not quite at peak, but what beautiful weather for October.

Heritage has almost completed its construction, with beautiful new paths, the windmill restored, and

it was a treat to be there.

One of the magnificent old trees

One of the new walkways with fantastic stonework.

The restored windmill.

The herb garden.

The rest are from our walk at Pratt Farm in Middleboro

The peak is at least a week away, but the
Poison Ivy is ready for its closeup.
