Bruce and Irene visit. Blog 1 Gardner Museum and L'Osteria Restaurant, North End, Boston

With a visit from Nova Scotia from Brother Bruce and wife Irena, we jumped at the chance to take them to some local museums, which they had said they were extremely interested in.  First on the list was the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum, which they had not visited. So here is a record of our visit, and dinner at my favorite restaurant in the North End, "L'Osteria"  And to double our pleasure, grandchildren Jackson and Oliver joined us both at the museum and at dinner.

For the first time ever, I took the audio tours, which only highlight a few works in
each room (there are almost no labels for the art). This was an exquisite piece
by Fra Angelica
