One of the more famous birding destinations, this lodge is built around the needs of serious bird listers, and has some of the best guides in CR. We had two guides, including Harry, UK resident in CR, and a wizard at locating birds.
This blog includes birds from Rancho Naturalista, and a private garden and pond Sally new about which was spectacular in the amount of birds that flew in in front of the blind.

Three more pictures left out of the previous blog, these from the restaurant with the incredible view of a waterfall, and this lovely bird, a Laughing Falcon |
|
We are now at the private pond and garden which Sally managed to procure some time. and the amount of birds was really rewarding. |
