Harvard Art Museum with Mark Slawson

A visit to the Harvard Art Museum, with Mark Slawson.  This is such a wonderful museum, so easily visited, so much great art in a modest amount of space.

I have photographed some of this before, but a lot is new.  And Beautiful

Blossoming Plum and Moon

Clouds across an azure sky of ten thousand leagues
the moon fades amid the fragrant expanse
A stem of plum across an emerald brow,
on a narrow path she greets the immortal.
An arbor of radiant flowers covers her,
parting to welcome me with cool elegance.
A swath of frost lies over her boughs.

Farewell to Spring Briar Roses

Casually, she coils her hair atop her head
and dons simple robes,
flowers are already withering
She, a beauty, is most nostalgic about the Spring,
She breaks off a flowering branch for
a closer look
